#OnThisDay in 1917 Evelyn Lucy Cheesman became Assistant Curator of Insects @zsllondonzoo, the first woman to become a curator there. She was promoted to Curator of Insects in 1920. This is her staff card which is part of ZSL's #archives. #WomenInSTEM #EntHist #OTD
