ZSL's 4th President, Prince Albert of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, was born #OTD in 1819. The husband of Queen Victoria, he was Prince Regent. He was President of ZSL from 1851 until his death in 1861. The rince Albert Gate and Prince Albert Suite @zsllondonzoo are named in his memory.
