Was told by municipality that "I'm glad Tarion is helping you on that...."

It never did! Municipalities don’t inspect every new building nor did they ever require builders to exceed Building Codes.Those were pretty words on a worthless piece of paper. @CPBH01 @ReformTarion #EnforceBuildingCodes
This new Bill 17 no longer allows Municipalities to require Homebuilders to exceed the building code. Defers Development Charges to occupancy - which means #LdnOnt doesn’t get the money until units are ready to be occupied. This will provide motivation for the City to see homes
