As Remembrance Day approaches, we honour the courage of Canadians who have served - and those who continue to serve. This Remembrance Day, I would like to invite all service members to connect with Ontario’s natural beauty and know that we are deeply grateful for their service.

People deserve reliable infrastructure, and a real chance at home ownership. Our government is helping communities repair aging systems, expand capacity, and unlock new homes. We’re giving municipalities the tools they need to grow - and we’re getting Ontario building again.

Local leaders continue to join us in support of Ontario’s plan to modernize conservation authorities. As @stevendelduca and @drewdilkens note, these changes will empower Conservation Authorities to protect drinking water, prevent flooding, and keep communities safe.

Proud to speak on Bill 60, the Fighting Delays, Building Faster Act as both Minister of the Environment, Conservation and Parks - and also, Acting Minister of Infrastructure. We are removing barriers to get shovels in the ground, support workers and protect food supply chains.

We begin the next phase in our nation-building project. The East-West pipeline feasibility study will inform how best to carry Western Canadian oil and gas to Ontario, develop new ports on James Bay, Hudson Bay, and the Great Lakes, and projects like roads to the Ring of Fire.
