I remember reading (some of) the Bible in school. Along with a lot โSimeon begat Zephaniahโ and smiting by God, it struck me that Jesus was kind to the poor, the sick and the unwanted. Clearly thereโs a lot of โChristiansโ who must have read a different Bible to me.

Not in class at the moment but when I go back in to do supply in the autumn I shall be wearing a mask. If the school say they donโt want me to wear one Iโll wish them the best & turn around & go home. If a kid asks me why Iโm masked Iโll politely tell them Iโm keeping them safe.

I๐NHS. In 2017 my dislocated collar bone required 3 surgeries, 3 weeks in hospital, a boatload of meds and some physio. It was all free at the point of need. Having to worry about paying for healthcare is literally outside of our mental universe.

But it's a rather wierdly special thing when an enemy recommends someone for a bravery award.
I did like the story of a RN surgeon (I think) who was awarded bravery medals by the Argentines and British for caring for the wounded of both sides.

Presumably the cards are there for stage fright.

Recently I switched to FFP2 when sharing an unventilated room with 30 unvaxxed little people with no understanding of personal space.
