RT @CFBAnalytical: In 2024 Alabama.did not have a NC level graded staff. With the switch at OC, they do for 2025.

If true, it’s better late than never, I suppose, but unclear why they didn’t do this for the previous regime or seemingly for the other candidates they talked to that actually coach in CFB??.
Source tells me UNC will increase NIL package for football from $4 million to $20 million in effort to land Belichick.

Side by side of Miami/Alabama vs FBS bowl teams, based on most recent AP Poll:.
Taking a deeper look here . Miami does not have a bad loss . certainly not one as a 20+ point home favorite over its rival . Certainly not an L to a 6-6 team . Even framed against 9-3 Bama . Miami played 6 bowl teams on the road, went 4-2. Bama played 4, went 1-3.

To borrow a @SplitZoneDuo/@38Godfrey phrase, North Carolina needs a FFC.
Mack Brown wanted to stay. Bubba Cunningham had other ideas. Now that the 73-year-old Hall of Fame coach has been shown the door, #UNC has a golden opportunity to inject some badly needed youth and energy into its football program .

Not sure what else you’re supposed to say until you actually do the thing buts there’s very much a chance Mack digs in and forces the AD/Boosters to *potentially* do something unpleasant albeit necessary.
Sources told @On3sports over the weekend that Mack Brown is starting to tell recruits that he will be back next season. Included it in this week's coaching carousel intel piece. More:

Biggest non-bass fishing win for NC State since the 80s.
University of North Carolina System Board of Governors now has authority to reject proposed moves among state schools to other conferences, @_andrewcarter reports. This could impact UNC or NC State if one of both tried to leave ACC.

“I would like the least amount of rules to apply to me and the most amount of rules to apply to my opponent” isn’t super complicated.
The crux of NCAA's current problem, now playing out with Tennessee, is it has -- on one hand -- schools complaining to them about rules not being enforced and how it needs to "get a handle" on one thing or another (NIL, transfers, etc.) 1/2.
