Feel like it works a bit better to set realistic expectations than the infinite requests model a lot of design subscription services offer. You can’t actually do an infinite number of tasks for a fixed monthly fee.

At @pblcknw we’re offering a fractional design team which imo works better than a fractional employee because we’re able to absorb bursts a bit better. Clients get guaranteed bandwidth capped to a certain number of hours, and we’re usually able to handle rush requests.
Genuine take: normalize fractional IC roles. I could handily PM 5 products and would probably be made better by exposure to diverse problems & cultures. How much of anyone’s 40 hours is performative nonsense? With AI I think we’re going to see the rise of gig economy knowledge.

Cleartax has the most ridiculous strategy of trying to continue offering you discounts on tax filing. after you have already bought the damn thing. I keep getting emails about it and if I log in, the first screen is asking me to buy again. I've already done this!

I really was saying this for a while.
What’s the funniest thing you’ve gotten scolded for in a 1:1 at work? “Please stop saying ‘That’s why they pay me the medium bucks’ every time someone says “Thank you” it’s making people uncomfortable” comes to mind for me.
