“This massacre ‘didn’t happen.’ It was built word by word, chant by chant, march by march for two years!!” A note at the site of the Bondi Beach massacre. And it’s entirely true.

The model is aviation, and pilots specifically. The computer (mostly) flies the plane itself. The result is a much safer flying environment than if everything was 100% manual But pilots are essential to the process. They’re an offline module in case the electronics fail, as an
As a lawyer, let me tell you the main reason why AI will likely NOT kill all lawyers, and why law is actually one of the most 'AI-safe' professions today: The legal profession is very good at protecting itself. It's built around the idea of competence, authority, credibility,

Hank is great but The Simpsons should have ended after 10 seasons. Has drastically outstayed its welcome and declined in quality
Been doing weird voices on @TheSimpsons for 36 years now. Can't believe it's been that long since our first official episode!

Matilda was running towards her dad when the terrorists shot her dead. Imagine seeing a little girl and shooting her. Imagine being her dad and knowing that your little girl was running towards you for safety when she was brutally murdered. If you are in the
🇦🇺 THIS IS MATILDA... She's at a petting zoo. Just being a kid. No idea what's coming. Her parents fled Ukraine for a safer life. They named her Matilda because it was "the most Australian name" they could think of. She was their firstborn in this country. Their fresh

Who needs churches, mosques or synagogues to have a spiritual experience if you can just attend a @radiohead concert? Listening to the serene and melancholy beauty of "No surprises" along with 17,000 fellow humans is profoundly moving. In Copenhagen this week.

I’ve been choking up at these words by Matilda’s father Michael (as reported by The Guardian): ‘“We came here from the Ukraine…and I named her Matilda because she was our firstborn in Australia. And I thought that Matilda was the most Australian name that could ever exist. So

Shying away from Gramsci, @DMiliband of @RESCUEorg sounds the death knell of the rules-based order. He tells me: "I think we’ve passed a tipping point from the old order. We can no longer say that the rules-based order is the defining anchor of the global system and that there

Reuven Morrison was murdered at Bondi. The powerful words of his daughter Sheina Gutnick should be read by every Australian. She speaks truth to power. “My father is dead because those in power chose inaction. And that stain will not wash off. You are guilty.” Her statement

Rob Reiner’s 80s run is absurd: 5 classics in a row—Stand By Me, The Princess Bride, When Harry Met Sally, Misery, A Few Good Men. Arguably one of the greatest stretches in cinema history. And that’s not even counting Spinal Tap two years earlier.

Well actually, there wasn’t bipartisan support. Howard went against his own base, & went against the Nationals. He had to wear a bullet proof vest when addressing farmers. Going against your base when it’s the right thing is leadership—and it’s what Albanese won’t do.
Australians didn’t blame the Howard government for the Port Arthur Massacre. They didn’t call Howard’s embrace of tougher gun laws a “diversion”. Instead, there was strong bipartisan support. Australia’s leaders united to put the national interest first. Times have changed.

My dad, Alex Kleytman, an 87-year-old Holocaust survivor, was murdered on December 14, 2025, at Bondi Beach Hanukkah Lighting Festival. He was a fascinating, cheerful and kind person of many talents with an unwavering spirit. He died shielding my mum, Larisa. 🧵

Embracing pervasive racial discrimination as the "solution" to racial income and wealth gaps was a big mistake on the part of the progressive movement, and one for which the Democratic Party will continue to suffer.
Beginning in 2014, prestige industries decided they urgently needed to diversify. They didn’t purge established Boomers. Instead, they did everything possible to avoid hiring white millennial men. This is the story of a generation derailed by DEI. https://t.co/kUfmpHfaMH

Sending love to @Ostrov_A for a speedy recovery. Manchester & Sydney are now indelibly connected for the most tragic of reasons - but we will rise again together and ensure our Jewish communities thrive and survive together.
From Manchester to Bondi, it is the same forces of hate. My dear friend Raphi Bloom of @NorthWestFOI shared this video with me, with reminder it was only weeks ago I reached out to ask how he was after Yom Kippur attack. We are indeed one family, always, and we will prevail!
