It’s an interesting phenomenon that the most abusive, racist, sexist, prejudiced, foul mouthed and inarticulate comments on X come from those who are anonymous and who give themselves fake names to hide behind. They are a parade of cowards whose ranks get thicker late at night.

Very sad to hear of the sudden death of Rose Wight, former Artistic Director of Adelaide Writers Week and co founder of the Festival of Ideas. Writers and publishers from around the world spoke so highly of Rose. She was a great force for good in our arts scene for years.
