People with takes like this have never solved anything themselves
If someone shows you a new or different take or approach to a hard problem, and your response is: “oh so this is just X thing applied to Y thing”, maybe shut up and listen to them for a sec because they might actually have solved Y thing without using your old shitty X thing?

We're all learning a new way to code, with agents. Now you can see how other people actually use them.

My current fav coding agent is @AmpCode . I finally invested in reading the manual and took some notes https://t.co/C0bCpP1ZWr

Not all models are good at all things Gemini 2.5 just happens to be excellent at tool calling
For builders: If you're not using Gemini 2.5 Flash for tool calling, you're missing out big time. @ryancarson breaks it down.

This week in Amp: • Review tool • Command palette! No more slash commands. • Amp can read other Amp threads • Workspace Entitlements • Still-unannounced feature (quick, reserve your name!) • Release the Kraken? Decided to record another casual video :)

*walks into office with crippling self doubt* everyone is whispering "Wow all these people hate me"
I didn't believe it until I saw it: but it *really* works in open offices! This is ML engineer Menoua at @WisprFlow HQ, coding... by whispering into his mic (a BOYA Gooseneck that costs ~$70). I was standing next to him and heard nothing. Everyone in the office does the same

I have never seen a market place with so much organic demand This is going to be an insane ride for the right person
Need someone to join the Amp team and help us build ads infra & user flows for Amp Free. Backend, frontend, shipping many times per day, and working with customers. This role is San Francisco only. Lots of hard work and ambiguity. DM me.

Reposting for reach. Can't stress how big of an opportunity this is to come and work on our ads network. HMU if interested.

Mid-but-fast models mean more iteration The number one think devs joke about is not losing focus when the model is working Since they are all getting better at prompting, I think these fast but mid models are going to win out in the long run

Man, I think people using model-selector coding agents still don't appreciate the power of Amp's agent-oriented architecture. Here's a thread where main agent got it wrong, so I just asked it to use the oracle subagent and voila—bug fixed! https://t.co/lxsNB0ngww

Honestly buying handles for your employees should be a perk (I’m sure @mattyp bought this himself but still)
