Teachers came up with a handful of strategies for each kind of problem, so the kids had options. Testmakers tested the kids on their knowledge of the strategies, thus taking away those options.

The administrative burden alone is worth considering, but I think the bigger problem is that you would have to compel men to take paternity tests even if they didn't want to.

I went to a school for 3 years that failed its accreditation.
I can attest, 9th graders understand as well as anyone when something is deeply wrong with the way the school's running, even if they don't have the diagnostic vocabulary to say how and why.
