£366million sat on Chelsea’s bench. Is it only an interesting stat when it’s City?
Welcomed the newest Blue to the world at 7.01pm on Derby Day. Introducing Erling Philip Kevin Yaya Vincent Sergio Shaun Pep Motors. (In my dreams… this is Oscar everyone!). He’s an angel and his Mum absolutely smashed it. 💙💙
Aymeric Laporte joined City in January 2018. He won every game he played in for the rest of the season, only conceding 5 goals. He won the Premier League and the Carabao Cup.
I know Ancelotti may be about to win his 5th Champions League, but given he proved he couldn’t do it with a smaller club, when he failed to win the league with Everton, he can’t be considered an all time great. We’ve all been told that’s how it works with Pep right?
I just witnessed a Liverpool fan try and chuck a cup of piss down onto our fans but didn’t manage to clear the tier and it’s went all over the Liverpool fans about 10 rows in front of him. Different breed 😂
City have decided to remove any images of Premier League titles from their team coach for Sunday because every time Liverpool get close to one, they bottle it.

Do people in America really read tweets like this and experience this and still not like the idea of social healthcare? It’s so confusing. Why do people want to have to pay so much to be kept alive, when it can be free?
@treeofdeatha
@ManCity
You can always tell who’s never been to a game. What kind of limbs are you expecting for the 4th goal against a league 2 team? 😂
Remember when Trent was trying to shag that pregnant bird who’d asked for Fathers’ Day message for her fella? If that was me, I personally would never appear in the media again, let alone embarrass myself like he has done.
I feel like I watched a different game to some yesterday. Chelsea took Liverpool apart and just failed miserably to score the myriad clear chances they had. Then some kids came on for 20 minutes, did very little and the most experienced player on the pitch scored the winner.
@BrendonHope
It’s amazing that these people think that a government that has failed to produce a working app (technology we’ve had for 10+ years) for tracking people, would succeed in producing nano technology tracking chips.

@Reyna6MCFC
We’ve the smallest squad of all the top 6 teams. We’re losing Fernandinho, Gundogan, likely get £50m for Jesus, already sold Ferran Torres for £55m, didn’t replace Aguero in the Summer. Our natural left back is in Jail, playing a £1m CAM at LB, and people begrudge us signing him?
@halfadams
Meghan thought becoming a princess was like movies: she’d wear a tiara and swan around demanding fealty from servants and subjects. In reality it’s an active public position, with expectation to work for the privilege received, she wasn’t willing to fulfill that part of the deal.
I know everyone loves to slag it off, but the eagle one was the the badge from when I was 6 til I was 25, so that’s what I knew it as. I always liked it.
United fans: “City have bought their success, they only spend their owner’s money, we’ve earned our money and spend that”
Also United fans “We want our owners out because they won’t spend their own money, and have spent a billion pounds that the club has earned on the club”
Eh?
@Jesanchez3
If Liverpool are so unique and special, why are all these posts made in the context of comparison with City? Just enjoy your parade, stop being so insecure about us. And also don’t use pictures from 2019 if yesterday’s parade was so good.
@AnfieldOpinion6
So City have won 3 of the last 4 Premier Leagues, and only had one player in this team? Pep is clearly the greatest manager of all time. Wow, what an achievement.
TalkSport have since deleted this video, but Aluko here thinks that City are actively trying to help a title rival out by submitting a £90m bid for Rice. How does she get paid to say this stuff? This is up there with Michael Owen levels of waffle.

We’ve sold Ferran £55m, Sane £60m plus loads of youth team players in the last couple of years. We’ve also won the league, got to a champions league final and semi. It is not strange that we can afford to buy players.
@SkySportsPL
£40m on Ox didn’t work, so they replace him with £55m Keita who didn’t work out, then £25m on Thiago who’s a sicknote, now another £50m on Phillips? My God this Klopp bloke loves throwing money about doesn’t he? Chequebook manager.
@AVFCFaithful_
Our football is a product of how other teams play against us. Watch when a team plays open, expansive football. We’re direct and we batte them. When a team sits in, this is how we win. It’s not our job to entertain rival fans.
@BrianNoproblem
Fergie managed St Mirren and Aberdeen because they were the only jobs he could get at the start of his career. He never went backwards after that. It’s not Pep’s fault that he was good enough to manage Barca in his first job. Why would he take a worse job to ‘prove’ himself?
Couldn’t go to Chelsea so put my ticket on the exchange. Sold almost immediately and I got £46 for it. Russian fella who bought it was talking to my Dad at the game and said the club charged him £75 for it. The atmosphere is shite, and this is where it starts.
This lot were mint tonight. Can’t believe how many props they brought 😂 fireworks, costume change, scarves. Probably the most interesting part of the night.
@AnfieldEdition
There’s no way he’s better than Cech, Schmeichel or Van Der Sar or De Gea at his peak in fact. He’s the best in the league at the moment, but nowhere near the best ever and won’t come close.
@kane_tingle10
We all want to get back to normality. But this is literally the evidence that lockdown (alongside vaccinations) is working. In 2 months we’ve gone from 1k+ to 23 thanks to a reduction in transmission due to lockdown. Don’t know why people find that hard to understand?
I love that Ake played this game and got this moment. One of the most likeable players in our squad, and deserves enormous credit for the graft he put into showing Pep he is at our level.
@jamesrobsonES
Yeah imagine if Guardiola broke almost every Premier League record, with Fabian Delph at left back, and following it with with a domestic treble with Zinchenko at left back. Transforming two attacking midfielders into full backs. Imagine that!
Villa spending their billionaire owner’s money to buy Norwich and Southampton’s best players off them, yet City spending our billionaire owner’s money (which we now don’t do because we get large prize money and commercial revenues) is completely different and evil? Make sense?
@joel_s0
Imagine downplaying the ‘ceiling’ of the best DM in the world, who’s just won the treble, scoring the winning goal in the Champions League final to clinch it. Sorry mate, Rodri is the ceiling. Your own fans were questioning why Rice would want to sit on the bench behind Rodri.
@L5vsTheworld
It’s mad to me that Americans will look at that and think “mmm breakfast”. Chicken wings for breakfast? And they have the audacity to come for our beans on toast?

At what point do you realise that we win loads of trophies, play in champions league semis/finals and therefore now earn loads of money?

The lifelong City fan Barton from Huyton in Liverpool who forced a move to Newcastle with a transfer request, who was then furious we didn’t pay him his loyalty bonus? Ok pal.
@CMhadry
@HLTCO
I don’t know any City fan who claims we’re a ‘massive club’. We’re bigger than we were, but no one thinks we’re at United/Liverpool size. It’s ironic that a Villa fan is talking about cup attendances given this was VP last time we played you in the cup, when we brought 7000
@Calvbetton
Of course it’s a bit forced and you might not get it, but don’t they look like they’re having fun? And isn’t that the point? Maybe they’re not match going fans and this is their opportunity to celebrate goals with a big crowd that they don’t usually get to do.
@HLTCO
Don’t feel too sorry for us mate. I grew up in the 90s. Watching us Div 2 while United were winning trebles. This is beyond our wildest dreams, I never thought I’d ever see my team win a cup, let alone the league. What other fans think of us doesn’t diminish our enjoyment at all.
@ShaunlfcT
Klopp bought Oxlade Chamberlain for 40m, didn’t work out so spent 60m on Keita, didn’t work out so bought Thiago. These things happen, top teams spend big money to get it right.
@talkSPORT
Simon I listened to a recording of you reporting the theft of your £100,000 watch to the police. I don’t think you’re in any place to be talking about obscene money.
@AOT2
There’s a reason Americans have to arrange additional entertainment for their finals. Because their sports are so dull, they need to make the event more exciting.

Remember that time when Madrid bought Figo, Zidane, Ronaldo, Beckham etc and were bankrolled by the Spanish government ‘buying’ their training ground for £500m, then ‘loaning’ it back to them for free? Who was questioning dodgy financing then?
