If you are thinking of voting Labour please read this as I was suspended from The Labour Party for saying that "only women experience the menopause" Can you please ensure that the candidate you vote for knows what a woman is.

‘This was a landmark win for women’s rights... We feel completely vindicated.' NHS nurses at Darlington Hospital have won a harassment case after being forced to share changing rooms with a biological male. The judge ruled their dignity was violated and management failed them.

There were so many disturbing comments from Lord Falconer concerning his assisted suicide Bill on Friday, that this one almost escaped unnoticed. Deeply alarming & a slippery slope: euthanasia solely for mental illness is set to come in next year in Canada.

😮ASTONISHING - Lord Falconer says that someone with a mental health condition could be allowed to have an assisted suicide. But how does one determine whether that condition is the cause of their desire to die? This is a dangerous path to go down.

An interesting statement from @unisontheunion following the Darlington nurses tribunal. Their mainly female membership should pay VERY close attention. They are effectively stating that they are not at all interested in defending women’s sex-based rights in the workplace.

⚡SHOCKING! Lord @Mark_J_Harper stands up for poor people who may feel they are being driven to assisted suicide by a lack of money & Lord Falconer tells him that poor people should be able to make that choice! Why then not extend it to anyone who wants to die for any reason?

@Fox_Claire Baroness Grey-Thompson: my condition is spina bifida. I assume I wouldn't be eligible for "assisted dying", but if I developed a pressure sore, I could very quickly become eligible and there are ableist doctors out there who would very quickly shift to "better off not around."

This @unisontheunion statement about the Darlington Nurses tribunal ruling is just extraordinary. UNISON has a membership that is around 75% female, yet its response to a legal ruling about women being unlawfully required to share changing rooms with a male colleague leads not

Big news from Scotland: the first MSP to publicly switch from supporting to opposing the AS bill. “Nicoll said her 31 years in the police force had exposed her to the most vulnerable in society and convinced her some would be subjected to ‘pressure’ to die.”

All these tribunals, all these legal fees, all the stress of litigation, the online abuse, all of it the Secretary of State could virtually stop tomorrow by releasing the EHRC guidance if she actually had any political courage or regard for people she is duty bound to protect.

Baroness @Tanni_GT says that if language matters anywhere, it matters in this Bill. Words shape understanding. But many people may not understand what assisted dying actually is i.e. providing someone with lethal drugs to end their own life.

WATCH: Baroness @lucianaberger rightly implores Lord Falconer to ensure that no one can request an assisted suicide on behalf of someone else. It is extraordinary that the Bill doesn’t currently make this clear! No wonder so much time is being required for debate in the Lords.

Baroness @Tanni_GT says that as a wealthier person she can afford the resources that make life easier. This Bill risks pushing less "privileged" people towards choosing death because they feel they would otherwise be a burden. We CANNOT treat human beings like burdens.
