The reason these Spam Mitigation Soft Fork proposals are “contentious” is because the people attacking Bitcoin have brainwashed too many Bitcoiners into thinking that Spam doesn’t pose serious risks to Bitcoin. The source of the “contention” is the Attackers.

Just returned home after dropping my husband @keonne off at FPC Morgantown, to begin serving a 5year prison term for a crime he is innocent of. My first instinct was to reach for my phone to let him know I arrived safely. This is a habit I need to learn to break. I’m uncertain
