We can't afford to lose doctors. @RachelReevesMP, the chancellor, said last year that resolving the doctor pay dispute is "a drop in the ocean" for the government. Paying doctors 22.67£/hr to keep them here is a no brainer.

Now we know why @wesstreeting refuses to negotiate with NHS staff. He wants the strikes to go ahead, so he can blame doctors and nurses for his failure.
