If Lawrence Welk were around today, he'd be playing Seals & Crofts.
Dash Crofts was born on this day in 1940 in Cisco, Texas. Along with Jim Seals, he formed Seals & Crofts, whose biggest hits are often mistakenly classified as yacht rock. However, the duo does have a handful of songs on the boat, including “If and Any Day” and “Stars”.

Intersectionals gonna intersection.
The right answer is: "Of course not. You don't reward terrorists. That would be idiotic, and it would hurt the Palestinians irreparably." But that would require a spine and a vision and an authenticity that the professional rules-followers are generally incapable of.

As a Rockefeller grad, this is particularly distressing to me. I had hoped that they, at least, would resist.
Anti-deficit theory and other DEI programs are everywhere in STEM - even in stand-alone medical schools and life science institutions like UCSF and Rockefeller with zero ties to liberal arts. Now STEM wants to blame the humanities. They’re wrong.

Yes, and this pisses me off so very much. The process can only accelerate in NYC once Mandami elected, which seems crazy since it is nearly complete anyway.
While the Marxists can't gain real power, they're raising social power treating culture as capital. That's why it's identitarian. Any institution they capture, you're going to see its cultural capital redistributed along the lines of identity, not merit or what advances.
