This is my Roman Empire. You'd think LLMs would be pumping out new knowledge like a firehose, from new political systems to new materials, even if simply by making novel connections in existing knowledge. And yet. .
chatgpt, claude, gemini, grok, etc have all read, comprehended, and nearly memorized every book in the world, and yet with current architectures and training techniques none of them have any truly novel knowledge to give us. really makes you think.

Agentic coding can go wild if you don't make sure you understand what is happening. I thought I was keeping a close eye on Claude Code. only to realize it was running every API query twice.
