#ODYSSEY: LDL-C, Lp(a), and hs-CRP provide prediction of MACE risk after ACS. For hs-CRP and lipoprotein(a), risk starts at low levels. LDL-C and hs-CRP are predictors of death, Lp(a) not. @gabrielsteg @SABOURETCardio @DLBHATTMD @cpgale3 @mmamas1973 @pash22 @CircAHA #CardioX

Thanks so much @JACCJournals for showcasing our study led by 🌟@SinaRsh w support from🗺️experts: OAC monotherapy is✅for most pts w AF + stable CAD. Awaiting data from #AQUATIC. Do the results apply to other indications such as mechanical valves or VTE + stable ASCVD?🤔

In patients with #AFib and stable #cvCAD, OAC monotherapy, compared with OAC plus SAPT, was not associated with a statistically significant increased risk of ischemic events but resulted in a significantly reduced risk of bleeding. https://t.co/vOen1sLSZX #JACC #cvCoag @bbikdeli

Patient-level meta-analysis of RBC transfusion trials in MI and anemia by Jeff Carson @gabrielsteg and colleagues. @AGoldsweig's poll indicated most would maintain Hgb 8 g/dl in this situation, but 10 g/dl might be better for long-term survival.
