Congratulations! Local community #crowdfunding contributed 30% of a ยฃ100,000 facelift and refurbishment of Dorsetโs only open-air public swimming pool, which reopened on 7 June in Shaftesbury. It's one of the oldest #lidos still operational in the country.

HAPPY 100th BIRTHDAY. "Crowds visit Tynemouth Bathing Pool. The new swimming pool at the Long Sands proved an immense attraction and presented scenes of great animation throughout the day. Occupied from six in the morning, until well into the evening.
