@tokenblogger In general I keep her face & real name off social media because I have no idea what her adult preference will be. For Clementine, I’m much more confident in her wishes & consistency in personality. I tweeted an explanation a few times before.

It would have been so nice if ACS had given us a documents to-do list after adoption with phone # & addresses. From the birth certificate, to SS cards, DOE record changes, etc. I’m JUST NOW getting the girls’ vax records merged in NYSIIS. Email: Elizabeth.Dwyer@health.ny.gov

My wife is a therapist and part of her job is working with child victims of crimes. The biggest red flag that a child is going to die from abuse is them being pulled from public school and beginning “homeschooling” mid year.
I used to think homeschooling was fine. I now think it should be illegal with zero exceptions, and that faith-based homeschoolers need weekly visits from CPS. Isolating your kids from the daily oversight of mandated reporters should be a red flag in the child welfare system.

It’s 8:18pm and @ZohranKMamdani canvassers came to my apartment to make sure I voted. It’s there 5th time here. I’m hopeful he wins but my GenX cynicism almost had me voting against him bc I hate solicitors.

Just had a weird call w/ a higher up @NYCSchools person & I hung up feeling like I had just spoken to ACS. I looked her up- sure enough, she worked at the girls’ foster agency during the early years. I swear the NYC systemic gaslighting is an infectious, generational disease.
