Today my 12 yr old son Tim is 43. Killed by the IRA 30 yrs ago, he lives on thro the Tim Parry Johnathan Ball Foundation which helps young people at risk of violence. The price paid by Tim and Johnathan has helped 000’s of others. Pls support and remember

One of our students got a single GCSE today, her only entry. Maths at grade 1. She’s got an inoperable brain tumour & has been through weeks of radiotherapy which she asked to have a 8am every day so she could still come into school. That 1 is worth 10 grade 9s to us ❤️

If you asked me about greatest change over the 40 years I worked in the NHS I would say the loss of consultant autonomy. The horrifying story of the baby-murders at Chester and the management’s refusal to listen to the doctors is a ghastly culmination of this process.

As the parent of a child with Down's Syndrome I always find it's these "small" things that have the greatest impact. I teared up as soon as he took that step. It may seem insignificant, but it really isn't. Absolute respect 🥰👏🏻 #DownSyndrome
