Today we have completed the sale of our iconic Peace Centre to Warrington Council. It is the end of a journey started on the 7th anniversary of the bombing which took Tim’s life. The charity lives on to help other charities with the proceeds of the sale.

Having not tweeted for a while, I am compelled to make the case that evil violent acts even without a politcal cause are still actsof terror and thereby subject to the same penalties as outlawed political groups. The Southport victims lives must bring change.

My heart goes out to the parents of the children attacked in Southport and particularly the bereaved parents. Whilst their pain will lessen over time, their loss is for ever, tho their family support will pull them through. We send them our love.

A day of remembering and honouring Tim 31 years after he was fatally injured by an IRA bomb. We get great comfort knowing so many people who never knew him, remember him like they knew him. Thank you. It brings great comfort 💙.

What touches me most deeply on this day is the quiet dignity of all the veterans and the nation as we mark Remembrance Day and our forefathers who gave their lives for this great country.

Today my 12 yr old son Tim is 43. Killed by the IRA 30 yrs ago, he lives on thro the Tim Parry Johnathan Ball Foundation which helps young people at risk of violence. The price paid by Tim and Johnathan has helped 000’s of others. Pls support and remember

It’s impossible not to feel serious concern for Police Officers in Northern Ireland after the announcement that ‘dissident republicans’ have access to their details. Is it too much to hope the republicans might return these details as an act of reconciliation.

Today is the 30th anniversary of the IRA bombing of Warrington and the deaths of Tim & Johnathan. It breaks my heart that Tim has been robbed of so many happy occasions with his family by faceless, callous killers who cared not a jot who died.
