Someone made a helpful guide to accessing scientific papers:
You don't need to be constrained to only reading open-access articles. If you want to access scientific publications, you should use sci-hub and archival services, check for preprints, request PDFs on /r/scholar, go through ResearchGate... Knowledge is supposed to be free.
