Eindrückliche Fotos von der ehemaligen @meteoschweiz #Messstation in #Blatten #Lötschental. Zwar blieb die Station vom #Bergsturz verschont, doch der aufgestaute See begrub die Station ein paar Tage später. Heute mit Kt. VS einen neuen Standort für mobile Messstation gefunden.

It was a historic day across France today. At least 52 new weather station all-time high temperature records were set across the country, with more than 175 stations reporting 40 °C or more. Peak temperatures reached up to +44 °C in Spain and Albania, and +43 °C in Portugal.

This is absolutely astonishing & historic. Finland has recorded 20 consecutive days of temperatures >30°C. The previous record was 13 days in 1972.
