Terribly sad to see this through the practice post this morning. A great service, now to be lost. These patients will now have to be referred into secondary care. Not quite the ‘neighbourhood model’ or ‘shift left’ we keep hearing about. @ni_gpecs @healthdpt

Many of the replies to Alan’s post here demonstrate how morally corrupt some people have become. I know the vast majority aren’t like this. TWO children- who may have had arms and legs blown off, amputations without anaesthetic. The lack of mercy and shame is disgusting.
It is likely that it will be a very small number of children (possibly 2), and it should not be beyond our expertise and imagination to figure out how to help and fund without detriment to any others. There are many options. If they need a GP my hand is up.
