I’m guessing the (minor) sinus procedure was probably “Balloon Sinuplasty”.
In the US this is often done in the clinic (office) under LA.
I am simply “in awe” of the surgeon, the anaesthetist and the theatre, recovery & ward teams who were able to get our PM home by 10am!

Sadly, I’m currently involved with some legal action (not medical related). The junior solicitor charges £195 per hour and the senior partner £350 per hour.

Tom, you are correct as the Law Firm is a LLP. It is also on the South Coast. London prices are considerably higher. The headline £262 figure used in the BBC Report is of course the overnight on-call fee (the highest). I posted earlier Pimlico Plumbers on-call rates.

I’m glad that my original post has added further to the debate regarding PAs in Medicine/Surgery.
I hope it can initiate an urgent review of PAs & the surrounding perceived “mission creep”. However at the same time conflicts of interest amongst our “leaders” should be called-out!
