I think this is a great lesson to any potential game designers about how to design horror. The scary part about horror games is never the jumpscare, it's the tension and dread leading up to it. A jumpscare is just a sudden release of that tension

Plus the original film had the combination of multiple emotions create new ones. Something like Joy and Sadness made nostalgia

I feel like that's the only way to get a "realistic" hardest difficulty. In the games, the animatronics quite literally teleport around the building, so if you wanted to do that in real time, you would just have to slow down to real time to get it to work right
