I just found this attitude of carefully studying the real world , in order to figure out how to best represent it in fiction/animation/3d, kind of relatable :) there's tons of fun anecdotes like that in the book.

I needed to make a small desktop application for my own use, and thanks to Dear ImGui, I got it all working from ground up in only like 1-2 hours lol. praise be to Dear ImgGui 🙌

@VulkanAPI experts here? I'm quite confused by the the fact, that if I specify my swapchain extents that are beyond what my surface capabilities report, vkCreateSwapchainKHR still returns success, even though validation says this is not okay. But why? 🤔

This month it is 20 years since I stopped using singletons (as in the Singleton pattern) anywhere in my code. Instead I do something like this struct and initialize it in main(). Then I pass it around as a pointer.

lol. just found out some bozo was using my photo and a misspelled version of my name to offer services on some freelancer website. that scammer account is gone now it seems, but be aware of that i guess lol 🤣😂
