getting there. now the tiles and sizes are automatically adjusted to the reference geometry - no more tweaking magic numbers truncated icosahedron and snub dodecahedron seem to be the best fit so far. waiting for some pentagonal tiles

building a truncated icosahedron (good old football) from a list of vertices i have a new class (UniformPolyhedronGeometry) that allows me to create these with calls to add triangles, squares, pentagons, hexagons, etc. also a text helper to identify vertex indices in 3d space
