Something that struck me about that Nike ad is that they said both girls AND boys will want to grow up to be like Megan Rapinoe. And hell yeah, both girls AND boys can grow up wanting to be like Megan Rapinoe.
I introduced myself to Fred Hoiberg by alerting him to the fact that Nebraska won every game I was in attendance for this season and he proceeded to offer me season tickets.
Big day.
Scott Frost on Wan'Dale Robinson: "He wasn't 100% either and he went out and played like he was. He earned the right, even though he's not on defense, to wear a Blackshirt today. He's that kind of kid."
My flight to Atlanta is carrying the remains of a WWII soldier who died in the Pearl Harbor attack. The pilot has asked that we all remain seated when we land for a few moments out of respect, and I think that's pretty special.
Let's talk about leadership quick.
After the game, Adrian Martinez was walking off the field with Scott Frost and Eric Lee. As they reached the tunnel and fans cheered, Adrian moved behind Frost and Lee and waited. "They deserve to be cheered for."
That's why he's a captain.
The last time
@CollegeGameDay
came to Lincoln for a
#Huskers
game I took this photo with my digital camera that I then had to take home and plug into my computer so I could download it before uploading it to a Facebook album.
Man, Mike Riley didn't need to do that. Speaks completely to his character. Maybe he wasn't the right coach at the end of the day, but he's an incredible human regardless. I am lucky to have covered his tenure at Nebraska.
As we prepare for the era of NIL, please never forget that Eric Crouch was temporarily suspended from the Nebraska football team and investigated by the NCAA over a $4 ham sandwich and a plane ride through central Nebraska worth $13.41.
A
#Huskers
fan asked how to get multiple tickets to Nebraska-Colorado this fall.
Bill Moos: "I don't care if you get into the game. I just want you around Boulder raising hell for those guys."
Big group of kids comes to the door. They ask how many pieces of candy they can take. I say two and one little girl looks at me, completely serious:
“I can’t count so I’m taking this many,” she says as she pulls a fistful of candy out of the bucket.
What a power move!
Sarah Fuller becomes the first woman to appear in a Power 5 football game, kicking off to start the second half Vanderbilt's game at Missouri.
The Mizzou crowd applauded as she kicked.

Today I postponed my wedding. It was a heartbreaking decision, but the right one. The safety of our loved ones is most important.
But as we made this decision today, I thought of so many of you facing similar decisions or seeing major life events shift. Thinking of you all.
Hey Omaha people - Anyone’s family missing a bunny? Found near the intersection of 52nd and Burt, laying in the street. I picked it up because it looks like it was pretty loved by someone and I’m hopeful I can find that someone.
@itsgabrielleu
I’m a senior on the team. I tore my acl this year and awaiting a medical redshirt. My father was killed in a car accident last Friday. You’re more then welcome to wear my fathers jersey he wore during my games. It would be an honor.
Walked out of the GameDay “compound” (their word, not mine) with Gabrielle and she shared again how much it means to wear Scott Gaylord’s jersey. Really, really cool of her to make that happen.
And of course, sending lots of love to the Gaylord family today.
I've said it before and I'll say it again:
@Huskervball
are real life Wonder Women.
And this little girl's face says it all about how important these
#Huskers
women are.
Some personal news: I am having surgery tomorrow. As many of you know, I was injured and badly burned in a car accident over a year and a half ago. I am in a much better place today thanks to my incredible team of doctors, but there’s still steps ahead.
Something else that stood out to me in this video: Matt Masker's arm around Logan.
Matt and Trent both supporting Logan, both in their own ways. You need all kinds of support and leadership to make up a team.
Many of you knew my dog Jacks, at least through the Internet. And so I’m absolutely heartbroken to share that the best boy passed away this morning.
I’m devastated. He was the best boy. I’ll love him forever. 💔
Scott Frost landed in Lincoln tonight at 7:33pm for a
#Huskers
walk-on event. He has a flight back to Orlando at 10:10pm.
Someone get that man an energy drink sponsorship.
Stick a giant banner of Devine Ozigbo up in the

' weight room this offseason, because he's the poster child for what hard work out of season can do for an athlete.
NIL isn't just about endorsement deals. It's about allowing student-athletes (who have talents and interests far beyond just the field/court) to be able to earn money doing what they love.
Want to play a live show and charge for tickets? Cool, student-athletes can do that now.
Now that the NCAA will allow it, I will be playing live shows this year as Will Ulmer!! I am open to all venues and business opportunities!! DM if interested, let’s make some music🎶
A man just called into Sports Nightly. Didn't have a question for Frost. Just wanted to say thank you and to tell him this: "I will always be there for you, man."
God bless you, Nebraska fans.
I hope everyone tuning in for Caitlin Clark also recognizes all of the talented women on this court on both sides, and then continues to show up, support and watch.
Because the women’s game is pretty damn great.
