28 Years Later is to the franchise what Fury Road was to Mad Max 10 years ago: just a lovable old man coming back with years of experience under his belt to make the most batshit crazy blockbuster. The need to rewatch this movie has infected my brain.

Warner Bros. handling both Sinners and One Battle After Another without the campaigns cannibalizing each other is genuinely impressive. Best of all, neither film relied on a festival premiere to build prestige, they let smart positioning, precise timing, and sustained momentum do
I have to give credit where credit is due, and the WB awards strategy for Sinners was the best I have ever seen. They were funded, available, on message, and best of all SMART!! Y'all will never see the details and beauty that went into that work, but trust it was phenomenal.
