loser you're a loser are you feeling sorry for yourself well you should be because you are dirt you make me sick you big baby baby want a bottle a big dirt bott
@angremlin
@SYLVIBULLET
It's a bit interesting how selective they've been with what diaspora culture to accept. There's a near total rejection of klezmer, but attempted co-option of cuisine associated with the same geographic area. It's probably harder to divorce music from its cultural origin than food
This being a specific example of some random white guy converting, making aliyah, and acting like he's indigenous to the Levant is just now hitting me. Palestinians can't do the same thing, it's fucking insane that it works this way.
@Nerdwiththehat
It varies quite a lot. Some of them are in the "Israeli cuisine" category on Wikipedia. Some have Israel as an associated region. Some have nothing. I used feedback for kreplach when I noticed it a week or 2 ago.
@shahabthefallen
Definitely, it's incredibly foolish to deny diaspora culture on the basis of, e.g., it reminding them of being weak in the past. But denying people that've left or "refused" to return is a pretty basic feature of ethnonationalism.
The goof where they didn't wipe the metadata on their site is what got me here. 24 year old Abdullah Hassan, from Long Island, now in Arlington, Virginia and currently attending George Washington University is who runs Stop Zionist Hate.
@Jags24Asare
Those are images and videos that no one should be allowed to ignore. That said, associating them with Jews and Judaism in general is bad. It feeds into the narrative that anti-Zionism is antisemitism. It's important follow Hamas' lead in making that distinction clear.
@posting_forever
He died in June, I'm not sure why she's deciding to bring it up now. Egypt claims their cop was pursuing drug smugglers and died in a firefight alongside 3 IDF soldiers. The IDF claims that the cop just randomly killed 2 IDF soldiers and another later.
Before I get into it: I'm not posting anyone's address or phone number. I found his current address this morning, I will not be posting that or his previous address under any circumstances. Don't DM me asking for his address.
I found who runs SZH, including, but not limited to, their former address, the city they live in now, the account that they were using before creating SZH. I'll do a thread tomorrow after I get everything archived.
The point of the Stop Zionist Hate account was to distance himself from the neo-Nazis he was associating with and have an account that's acceptable to normal people and has a wider reach. It's just that he apparently couldn't resist the temptation of Holocaust denialism.
He seems so much like far right white supremacist media because his last account was a far right America First news account. His last account was Arlington Post @/arlpost. He tried to wipe all of his previous content, but couldn't.
@JohnBrownJovi
@angremlin
@SYLVIBULLET
Yeah, it's very closely tied to the suppresion and brief-ish ban of Yiddish. There's a decent Haaretz op-ed on klezmer in Israel from last year by an Israeli klezmer musician.
@BoltzmannBooty
Very bizarre thing, apparently part of a fashion show with exclusively Oct. 7 survivors as models. He's supposed to be dressed up as Moses lmao
@BoltzmannBooty
Picture posted in April (and then edited in September?), he tagged it just as Africa and I do not have the patience to do geolocation. Very obvious mine in the background though, so it's probably in the DRC side of the Albertine Rift
It's insane that Germany and Japan were allowed to exist after WWII. And now some of the dumbest people on the planet are using the fact that they weren't completely dismantled as an argument for Israel to continue committing genocide. This world is a failure.
Is this a genuine invitation to dox him and his wife? I found her home address and either his name isn't "William Iannuzzi" or they don't live together.
@still_oppressed
Using the resilience of Palestinians as proof that Israeli genocidal rhetoric isn't actually genocidal is maddening and really common. This seems like just an extension of that.
Fuck it, let's go. It's Caleb Pollack, who's a patent attorney with Pearl Cohen, an American-British-Israeli law firm. His wife is Rachel Fremmer, who used to be a lawyer (last case in 2000) and now seems to be a librarian and a rep for the Citywide Council on High Schools in NYC
A lot of his tweets have been archived in daily posts titled "White World Wrap" on the neo-Nazi Alex Linder's Kirksville Today. These are not all of them, the archive site is misgehaving right now. I doubt Linder will wipe anything.
I found who runs SZH, including, but not limited to, their former address, the city they live in now, the account that they were using before creating SZH. I'll do a thread tomorrow after I get everything archived.
Second: I found him through his younger brother. His brother is 20, still in undergrad, and is not politically involved. I've deleted a previous tweet mentioning him. He seems fine, if you find him, don't harass him because of his brother.
I believe that Hassan started the arlpost account over the summer, the earliest post I found was Aug. 29 responding to AWW. He appears in a podcast about bias in journalism on Sept. 4.
The most compelling indictment of the IDF is the complete lack of notable conscientious objection/fragging or even Winter Soldier-style truth-telling from the people who have served. The silence and inaction of the "good ones" are as damning as the actions of the "bad apples"
@posting_forever
It's insane, and pretty funny tbh, how little you need to read to understand post-war Japan's politics and economy. You can get like 90% of what you need to know from just the wiki article on Sasakawa "I am the world's richest fascist" Ryouichi.
This America's Base thing rules, there are at least 12 accounts that are all the same person lmao. The guy's name is Sam Morady and he's employed by *Harris Media LLC* lmfao. There's a very high likelihood that the Stop Zionist Hate account is run by Harris Media.
I think there's like a 50% chance that the @/EndWokeness account is hasbara. The Louder Israel (the firm that claims responsibility for the 40 burned babies story or whatever) Twitter account only follows accounts that are very obviously hasbara accounts. And also End Wokeness.
Most of the interactions with Hassan's account are from October. On Oct. 2, his account was cited by N12 on a story about a roof collapse in a Mexican church.
How is it that I, an idiot, can see a pretty clear way out of worsening international perceptions for Israel but hasbarists, with more money and resources than they've ever had, just keep copy-pasting the same debunked stories and arguments from 4 months ago?
There are a couple posts in particular I want to point out. One is Pim Tool QTing someone else citing an analysis by arlpost that proves that the burnt baby picture was real.
It seems he had intended to launch a Spanish language version of arlpost, but he didn't do anything with it. You can find some of the arlpost posts in Spanish, though. Again, archive site is misbehaving.
@SeanMcCarthyCom
what, you don't believe this guy who told a different story on his instagram than he did to NYT? How could a "security consultant" working in the DRC possibly be an untrustworthy person?
@bigmaith
@SaeedDiCaprio
@newsomin2024
Pretty sure he's in his mid-20s. There were a lot more Galils around with civilian police, military police, border police, and reservists when he was a kid. Also a lot of M16s/M4s/Negevs with box mags, all easily mistaken for AK pattern rifles for people not familiar with guns.
Also to all the Zionists that have followed me, I openly advocate for the destruction of the state of Israel. You can keep following me if you want. I looked into SZH because it was acting as an obstacle in the way of that goal. I'm not on your side.
@christapeterso
There is apparently a large underground bunker and tunnel system underneath the hospital, and this is known because Israel built it lol
There is an account that claimed to be a correspondent for arlpost in Gaza. They were started in October and haven't been active since October, though.
@Drea_got_banned
@Phil_Lewis_
Hamas has broken 1 ceasefire in the last 15 years, and it wasn't in 2023. Israel is seemingly unable to hold to ceasefires.
Another is a post that's on Linder's site because it was liked by Lucas Gage. Hassan claims he's the victim of a coordinated smear campaign which fed him false information to discredit him.
There's still a bunch of replies to his content around, if you're interested in reading more of it. A lot of it is search restricted, you can partially get around it be setting date parameters, e.g.:
Another is a conversation between Hassan and an account named War Journal, @/StockJunkiee, where they're coming up with a name for a counter to the ADL.
@Is_Not_Brian
I'm pretty convinced that their music, and dancing by extension, is so bad because they really harshly suppressed specifically Yiddish in Israeli art and culture. It's honestly kind of impressive that they managed have literally zero good klezmer.
Hassan's arlpost account was also a big source for disseminating misinformation about white phosporous early into the war. He was using a picture from 2022, if not earlier, to report about its use in Gaza in this war.
@whstancil
Any particular reason you're using "Apartment List" data and not BLS data for rental costs? YoY cost for rent of primary residences from the most recent release was 7.2%. It's in the article you took the chart from.
@PYMundGenealogy
There are a lot of exceptions, though. Gefilte fish, bagel, knish, rugelach, and a few others don't have Israel as their, or an, origin on the search card.
@raz_sauber
@bushviper05
All good will was completely burned as soon as the 40 beheaded babies thing was spread. You don't get to make intentionally outrageous claims without proof anymore.
An interesting bit is that he seems to have gotten some people to take down content mentioning him. He did a podcast with an antisemitic J6er on November 3 and that episode doesn't exist
@ScMesab
@BenzionSanders
I don't know if you know this, seems like a lot of people don't: Hamas is, at most, 2% of the Gazan population. 70% of Gazans in 2023 supported Hamas being disarmed. The extreme revenge by Israel is only going to result in more violence and less support for a political solution.
@AstuteCFO
I mean, even in the 1988 charter, they specifically cite Zionists as their enemy, and want to establish an Islamic state under which Christians, Jews, and Muslims can peacefully coexist and intermingle.
@KennyGoo
@posting_forever
Article doesn't really explain anything. Not that it's particularly complicated, it's just a huge mass of concrete. Concrete nuclear bunker walls only need to be 1 to 3 meters thick.
