I was telling someone about @3blue1brown and I realized that Grant Sanderson is ten years out of college this summer; what an impactful decade he has had -- and what a rare combination of talent, passion, taste, consistency, and purpose!. Thank you, Grant, on behalf of everyone.

The status page for @googlecloud's likely also runs on GCP, so it hasn't been updated in a while (or is serving a cached version), so while Twitter is exploding that GCP has been down, the status page is all a beautiful shade of #34A853 Google Green.

congrats also to @janniksin for forcing that 5th set tiebreaker -- but I must remind you that no hat-wearing player has become an all-time great (Jim Courier, anyone?). Bjorg, McEnroe, Lendl*, Edberg, Becker, Agassi, Sampras, Nadal, Federer, Djokovic - no hats, you'll notice.

congratulations to @carlosalcaraz on winning that epic French open final, but equally for bouncing back from being on the receiving end of multiple championship points in the second set!.

No, this is not what one wants. What one wants is to be able to tell exactly what we want in the slides -- in natural language -- and let AI do the heavy-lifting (or grunt work, depending on how you look at it) of designing a nice visual presentation of the content you.
Karpathy today said Cursor for Slides needs to exist. but it already does. When asked to "Create a detailed data-driven slide deck based on Google's recent financial filings",. It created a stunning 6 page deck with graphs, diagrams IN Google theme!. It's called Genspark.

He looks stupid making statements like this -- the bulk of the taxes (personal and business income taxes, payroll taxes, . ) go straight to the IRS, not through CA's horrendous FTB. He doesn't have legal authority; he doesn't have a following like Gandhi did to incite.
Californians pay the bills for the federal government. We pay over $80 BILLION more in taxes than we get back. Maybe it’s time to cut that off, @realDonaldTrump.

Sir @demishassabis is such a wonderful interview subject -- every one of his interviews is a pleasure to watch. The one with Director David Nirenberg of the Institue for Advanced Study @the_IAS is fabulous -- great questions, densely-packed answers, plenty of food for thought.
