Another productive day at UNCITRAL negotiations for the Model Law on Warehouse Receipts in Vienna. Thank @annajoubinbret Secretary of UNCITRAL for the useful discussions I had along with my senior colleague Dheeraj Sahu, JS, WDRA on further collaborations with UNCITRAL.

Efforts of #WDRA to promote #pledge #financing through electronic #negotiable #warehouse receipts (#eNWR) are yielding good results. This will lead to higher liquidity in rural areas and robust lending portfolio of financial institutions.

During the financial year 2022-23, #WDRA registered 1028 warehouses as on 08.12.2022.This is the highest number of registrations in a year achieved by WDRA since inception.

All transport offices in U.P. now provide option to Learner License applicants to apply through Aadhar authentication. Under this option, applicants can take computer test from anywhere using face authentication software and will not have to visit transport office.
