I had the pleasure of meeting and chatting at the annual Academic Surgical Congress. He was a guiding light for academic surgeons in the early days of Twitter- dispelling myths while spreading his educational reach on social media. A good man. @AcademicSurgery @jdimick1.
The Skeptical Scalpel passed away on June 19th, 2025. He died peacefully in his home surrounded by his loving family. You can read about a remarkable man's life well lived here ( . He will be missed by all who knew him.
