The 27th amendment is a blatant attempt to undo the 18th amendment, long the bane of Punjab's civil-military elite. Gen Bajwa once called it more dangerous than Sheikh Mujeeb's 6 points. Undoing it might be the final blow to Pakistan's already fragile 'federation in name only'.
