Humbled to be elected with so many of your support for the Federal Board, and looking forward to working with fellow elected colleagues. But before I start the term to serve @LibDems in a larger capacity, let's work hard together to win this crucial #GE19 and #StopBrexit.🔶🇪🇺💪

Celebrating and remembering #victorydaybangladesh on 16th December. After 9 months of war in 1971 Bangladesh achieved independence. I was born a year later in Bangladesh; how could I forget my parents recounting the war they lost loved ones for #freedom

Imagine losing your seat of 22 years by less than a 1000 votes and a couple of days later being back out doing this. I would be hiding in a cupboard. What an inspiration @thomasbrake is to far more than @LibDems.

Been mentioned already. But one of the Corbynite’s last acts was to send an appeal to Labour activists to decamp to Finchley to try and ensure Luciana Berger couldn’t win. Not to help Labour win. Just stop her winning. It’s important for what follows that people remember this.

Seriously? You came down to Wimbledon and told everyone to vote Labour. The Tories beat the Lib Dems here by 1%, with Labour trailing in third. Are you pleased with your work? Do you have the humility to admit your mistake and apologise to the people of Wimbledon who you misled?

Some compare Corbyn's car crash to 1983. But it's worse. In 83 Labour was still largest party in Scotland & held its heartlands. Today it's being chased out of both, its electorate is now structurally unsound & machinery held by hard left. It took 3 elections to recover from 83.

I shall never ‘reconcile’ myself to #Brexit, however long I live. It is a total, unmitigated tragedy for this country. It is the product of decades of lies, misinformation, lack of fair reporting and citizen ignorance, in which the Right, the Left and the media have colluded

A morally bankrupt Labour Party, which decides on polling day to focus resources on ensuring two fmr Labour MPs lose (in seats Labour knew they were going to come third in) rather than defeating tories and winning seats, doesn't ever deserve a single "tactical" vote.

The fact a Jewish woman (Luciana Berger) was hounded out of the UK's main "tolerant party" is a stain on the UK's soul. The fact that some in that party KEPT hounding her in her new party to keep her out of Parliament without SHAME... I made a note of who's part of the problem.

No, Labour got hammered because people like you took control and worshiped a leader that voters told you time and again they would never put in power. You and your mates did this, Owen. The defeat is all yours.
