This has never worked for me. My red flag litmus test is negging disguised as playful banter. Negging is like a gateway drug to gaslighting.
The easiest and most obvious one is observe him in a social setting Say you’re going out, how does he treat service folk, how is he with strangers, does he have a quick smile or a kind word, does he inherently respect or brush off, does he give space or take it, is he courteous
