Age 31 (tomorrow):
About 90% of my friends are married or almost there. Some have kids, and I often relate more with the children than parents.
Everyone’s done different degrees, and a lot of them have moved outside India, but all of them are struggling with their financial

Almost everyone of my age is either in countdown of getting married, married or celebrating their kid’s 1st birthday.
They are also done with their MBAs and masters and doing too good in their career.
And then there's me, sleeping on this bed not knowing where's life

I just finished 8 years of crypto.
Year 1 was entering in with what little money I had. Saw it go up, saw it come down.
Year 2&3 was working a full time job while learning and slowly investing in crypto.
Year 4 I knew where I was in the market and went all in and earned my

I recently told my parents that I want them to spend all of their savings in the next 20 years of their lives. This will be hard for them, but I know my sister and I will learn so much from them just trying.
On the flip side I was recently speaking to a friend closer to my age
“We had someone pass away in the office. Her desk was cleared out by the end of the week. A bunch of PTO days still on the books, 401K that she’s been scrimping and saving for that she’ll never get to use. A pension that she was trying to earn but will never see a penny from.

A simple way to check if you have a non-toxic manager is to see if they have a life outside of work.
The ones without a life outside of work, tend to make work their escape and expect the team to do so too.
