Are quarter squats cheating? Deep squats are clearly better for building muscle and strength through a full range Plus, increasing your deep squat WILL increase your quarter squat (the opposite might not be true) In most cases, I use deep squats for the majority of the year.

As an AD, I implemented a strength program where every athlete lifts in season with their current team. I challenged coaches to scientifically prove it was not beneficial. No one could. It eliminated the tug of war over athletes and reinforced what we believe.
