Good thing Clowney didn’t opt out when advised not to play his junior year. Clowney even chose to play in the Outback Bowl after being advised to sit out. Interesting the #1 pick chose to fulfill his commitment to his team and university even as projected as number 1 pick.

Hats off to @CoachSBeamer for building a love and togetherness culture with his players and their families in a money driven, win at all cost business. College football coaching is a tough profession. It’s actually sad what it has become over the past ten years.

My son began his school sports career this year. He was part of three teams and cut from one. His role on all his teams was in a reserve roll. He was part of a team. He learned valuable lessons. He worked hard. He was held accountable. He was happy.

Today, society is making it where being on a team is no longer a privilege, playing time is no longer earned, coaches are to blame, kids are not held accountable, & winning doesn’t matter. In return, we expect young student athletes to be prepared for what life throws @ them. 🤔

When you decide not to attend team activities because you “didn’t feel like it” or “I forgot” what you really should say is “it’s not important to me” or “I don’t care about my teammates, coaches, or my team”. Actions speak louder than words.

100%..... The college football business is tough. The Muschamp family is first class. Many of these players chose SC because of the relationships they built with these coaches during recruiting. This is tough on all the coaches, families, players, and players families.

Alright yall. It's over. Didn't work out and it was probably time. But worth remembering that there's a team of kids who are hurting right now bc they lost their coach and assistants and support staff who don't know their future. Muschamp is a good dude, it just didn't work out.

Coaches not requiring strength training in and out of season are not preparing their athletes to be the best they can be. Don’t be that coach that preaches “it will mess up her shot”, it will mess up his swing”, or “I don’t want him to get to big”. Instead, get educated!!!
