Co-sign this. Corollaries:.For those “imbalanced” folks living on the edge, . Accept that you’re not optimizing for happiness. That is ok. Living someone else’s “best” life is not fulfilling. Life has seasons. A marginal, temporary increase in harmony yields great benefit.
If you care deeply about excellence and craft you are not going to be “balanced” and you’ve just got to accept that about yourself because trying to force balance will make you miserable.
