The headline says it all. Whitmire's TIRZ board erased key safety improvements. Another project radically changed to make it worse. At a cost of $223,000. https://t.co/7VSQVF8fb8 @jayrjordan

"Guiding mobility principles" is a meaningless, ridiculous phrase.

Today I went to the H-GAC board meeting to explain that Gafrick's "guiding mobility principles" is a meaningless, ridiculous phrase. When the media quotes it without context, it's publishing propaganda. Knock it off.

The raised crosswalk was installed after 2 pedestrians were fatally struck. By removing the crosswalk, Whitmire is not only disrespecting the lives lost, but is ensuring that more deaths will follow. Whitmire has blood on his hands and he doesn't care. #recallwhitmire

@walkrollhouston @theSurlyBiker @HouPublicWorks @houmayor She avoids answering direct questions with actual data, which makes it seem like she’s either hiding something or just speaking without substance. Do proper research and rely on facts people want accurate information, not speculation. #failedleaders #clarity #datamatters #htx

Bob Stein leaves an indelible legacy. He always believed in progress for our district and #Houston. My thoughts are with his family. Robert M. Stein, influential Rice University political scientist, dies at 75 https://t.co/Snylh1UNtR

The engineers told us that they couldn’t put shared Road paint on Alabama. But apparently Marlene thinks people should bike on it?

NIMBYs to City Planners: "You're not going to dictate the design of my neighborhood and make us live in pods." Then traffic engineers and developers will dictate it instead and make you live in cars.

The Studemont Tunnel got a makeover and it's spectacular! Huge thank you to Walk and Roller @davidcentanni for his persistence with the city since 11/24 to get the lights repaired and underpass scrubbed.

The community protested a plan that Whitmire's TIRZ board forced on us. Because Gafrick hates sidewalks and bike lanes.

Remember Whitmire saying we didn’t really need the drainage improvements on Montrose blvd b/c Montrose doesn’t flood? During a interview, he told Houston Public Media, "It's very disputable whether Montrose at its high elevation relative to Houston is a major drainage concern."

🗳️ Mayor Whitmire just lost a key endorsement. Oak Forest Area Democrats voted 22–3 to rescind their support and bar him from endorsement in 2027. Here’s why: https://t.co/vxvHDI31R7

@walkrollhouston Seriously, where are they?! Was it ever really about the trees? Now construction crews are being put in danger ⚠️ This is a safety issue - no protection. A large excavator has been parked and used 🌳—well within its Critical Root Zone WOW! 🚧 #Houston @KHOU

Breaking news! Huge thank you to @AbbieKamin District C for getting the Montrose TIRZ budget amended to move the $11.5 million from the old library to the much needed renovation to the W. Gray Community Center. Well done!

Oh look. 2 way bike lane protected by armadillos, wide sidewalk, car lanes, street parking, retail and a park. This is what's possible when cities prioritize people > cars.
