The trains between London and Edinburgh make Amtrak (and even Brightline) look like you're hitching a ride on a freight train. No at grade rail crossings. 150mph+. No breakdowns or delays. Massive ridership. Why is this so hard for America?

This is the first major NYC transit expansion since the 1940s.
Governor Hochul just announced that the Interborough Express (IBX) will proceed from the design phase as a light rail project, connecting all east-west Brooklyn and Queens subway lines and moving 131,000 people daily. It will be 30 minutes faster than current transit options.👏
