Just like with Christie and the Gateway cancellation, this will cost everyone (yes, "working class drivers" too) SO MUCH more in the long run then if they just let it happen.
It's actually insane on many levels that the Governor has left the MTA without a source of funding for rolling stock contracts in progress. This will spike costs, particularly for the R211 contracts and subsequent replacements. I can't stress enough how bad her leadership is.
