A TikTok account is leaking NYC bathroom codes, tracking the best free bathrooms and shaming businesses for gatekeeping a basic human need. My latest for the @nypost:

Kirsten Gillibrand is on @BrianLehrer pitching alternatives to congestion pricing's clean-air benefits, suggests 20 years to build "hubs" outside the city where people could park their cars & take the train, a concept more popularly known as "parking lots at train stations".

Nice scoop from @DaveCoIon here: New York State has been underfunding the MTA by hundreds of millions of dollars for decades using a sneaky shell game

also doing a bad job telling people they should not go to urgent care for a test! there are pop-up tents everywhere, and plenty of no-line Health & Hospitals sites around.
Call me crazy but if 50 people are shivering outside to get a COVID test, I’d say we’ve done a pretty crappy job making tests widely available. Half the people are coughing.

all the answers in this thread being Terminal 5 reminds me of the time i pitched a story at my old job about how everyone hates Terminal 5 and they told me this was not a universal experience and no one cared.
terminal 5 and it’s not even close. the sound is bad and it’s annoying to get to/far from everything. i will skip a show i would otherwise go to simply because it is at that venue.

i wonder if those two years it was suspended before being incrementally and slowly reintroduced affected participation?.
Asked why he suspended expansion of the organics recycling program, @ericadamsfornyc says the program is "broken" and only functioning as a "symbolic" gesture because participation is so low.

Brooklyn Ave. does NOT run through Dumbo like this, not sure this movie is based on real events.
New look at the #Supermariomovie shows Mario & Luigi it what looks to be Brooklyn (called it) with their rumored plumbing van. Pauline also appears to be in the back to the left

this allegedly vegan man eats more fish than Heathcliff the cat.
.@NYCMayor plays a role in the most recent Eating New York newsletter (the star is the fish he ate at L'incontro, now on the UES) @tammieetc

there's prob a deeper meaning about why people insist on going to CityMD for tests that has to do with the reflexive trusting of a major brand name, or the fact that no one has a real doctor any more so citymd is their first thought, but either way there are better options!.

After attending several recent shows with abysmal audience etiquette, it has become clear to me that we must expand the use of phone jail. I wrote about it for @HellGateNY:

the famous central park concert that told everyone "return to your vehicles".
In which @NYCMayor goes on at great length about how awesome this summer's homecoming concert was — the one that was supposed to signify the rebirth of NYC but was aborted by lightning ( — and presents the key to the city to its organizer, Clive Davis
