Today advocates stood with @RachelMayNY @EmilyAssembly @SenatorMyrie @RagaForQueens to urge the @NYSA_Majority @CarlHeastie to join the Senate in passing #RainReadyNY (A9435). Our cities need the tools to combat extreme rain and flooding due to the worsening climate crisis.

We know how to deice roads using less salt, and some communities (mine included) have enacted policies and bought the equipment to do so. We can keep roads just as safe by using far less, and frankly we should all return to the norms of driving slower if at all, when it snows.
