Best of luck to the lad, he's getting his dream move back to Madrid. But like Amad, it's criminal he got so few minutes under Ten Hag, outstanding at youth level, winning youth player of the year in 2022. Under new structure, they'd be fighting to keep him, but way past that now.

MUFC transfers have always been drawn out, even under Fergie, especially when going for the best players from other PL clubs. I'm sure most weren't signed before July either. Signings will be made, players will leave & it will be better under the new structure. Go & enjoy summer.

Going to have to be really smart with signing a no2. First error Onana makes, likely to be on the 1st day & backup keeper will be in. Needs to be a situation where Onana can't get his spot back. Can't sell him until a GK is signed,limits quality options now of what we can afford.

I can't imagine anybody currently at the club looks at Onana and thinks he the answer. Defence looks terrifed when he's around. I'll be amazed if we're not looking to replace.

Utd must have given them some indication for Martinez's camp to be pushing. They might want to work on Villa reducing their £40m fee though, no way Man Utd will pay that.
