All papers included the following red flags: perianal/perineal/saddle sensory disturbance and bladder or bowel dysfunction of varying specifications. 8/9 papers included radicular/sciatic pain, 5/9 new motor weakness, 4/9 digital rectal exam findings and 5/9 PVR.
