If someone still believes this is a legit clip of NASA leaving the Moon in 1972, then that person simply isn’t worth the time to debate anything with.

No: .- Fission energy from uranium, plutonium and thorium does not come from the sun. - Potential fusion energy from deuterium, hydrogen, boron, etc does not come from the sun. You know this.

The math is obvious and unequivocal:. ~100% of energy over time comes from the Sun. Everything else is a rounding error.

AGI would be writing and defending a doctoral dissertation in science or engineering. ASI would be three or more Nobel Prizes (since several people have won two).

TMI and Fukushima meltdowns: the only "major disasters" in human history that didn't kill a single person.

In all of human history, there's only been *3* major nuclear disasters, that being Three Mile Island, Chernobyl, and Fukushima. Of these, only Chernobyl remains dangerous, largely due to Soviet incompetence during the initial design of the facility and the response to the.

You can avoid sycophancy: Prompt to examine alternative hypotheses, show evidence & counterarguments, and provide checked references + certainty estimates for all claims. Also "please don't answer as if you're certain when you aren't". Thank you for coming to my TED talk.

I am starting to think sycophancy is going to be a bigger problem than pure hallucination as LLMs improve. Models that won’t tell you directly when you are wrong (and justify your correctness) are ultimately more dangerous to decision-making than models that are sometimes wrong.

Atomic Blonde is an impeccable film: The choreography, the direction, the acting, the layers of deception, the historical context.

Three countries (China, India, and the USA) have all imaged the Apollo landing sites from lunar orbit. "If we faked it, why'd we fake it nine times?".-- Charlie Duke, Apollo 16 lunar module pilot who walked on the Moon. The moon landings are more well-documented than almost.

A typical small (desktop or handheld) computer today has a clock speed about 20,000x faster than in the mid-1990s. And it has ~20,000x as much RAM. I don't find it 20,000x faster, or 20,000x better. Why do we EVER have spinning beachball, "loading. ", or "please wait" ?.

Favorite Fordow statement: at the end of Caine's briefing describing the 15-years of DITRA work on it:. "And one last thing our adversaries around the world should know: there are other DITRA teams out there studying targets for the same amount of time and will continue to do.

If indeed 14 GBU-57s were dropped, 12 were dropped on Fordow. But only 6 holes at Fordow (as per high-res satellite images post-attack, multiple sources). It means 2 or more went down 1 hole at each of the 2 Fordow target areas. That changes things (and is astonishing if true).

🚨FAKE NEWS CNN STRIKES AGAIN:. This alleged "assessment" is flat-out wrong and was classified as "top secret" but was still leaked to CNN by an anonymous, low-level loser in the intelligence community. The leaking of this alleged assessment is a clear attempt to demean.

Iran built & operates two deep underground sites shielded by ultra-high performance reinforced concrete containing tens of thousands of centrifuges. That is uncontested. And they are transparent as to their goal: to destroy Israel. It is nothing like the 2002 Iraq WMD nonsense.

It looks like Tulsi is compromised. She just modified her testimony from a few months ago and now claims Iran could be "weeks away" from developing a nuke. A claim even Netanyahu won't make. He said just last week that Iran could have one in a year. This is preparation for war.

In 2 years & 4 months the Manhattan Project went from nothing to Trinity. It had never been done before & no one knew if it was even feasible. Obviously Iran, who for over 20 years has had a nuclear weapons program and essentially full knowledge of how it's done, is very close.

We negotiated with Iran for many years while they built & operated nuclear weapons infrastructure deep underground, chanting "death to America". Two choices now remain for Iran: dismantle all of it, openly in full view of overhead surveillance, or have it dismantled for them.

Abstracting away from the nuclear issue for a second: Bombing countries while pretending to negotiate with them is major blow to our diplomatic credibility.

Jamie is a genius. And knows what to do about the NARA (National archives and records administration). She should appear on @joerogan and/or @lexfridman's podcasts. No one is quicker.or more well-informed.
